To qualify for experienced firefighter pay, applicants must have at least five (5) years of paid experience as a firefighter (within the last 12 months) with a full-time fire service agency whose primary responsibility is fire protection and emergency medical service and complete the one-year probationary period. ​

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. 18 years of age or older.
2. Be a non-user of tobacco products (signed affidavit).
3. Have a clean criminal record. (No DUI's, drug possessions, theft etc., as checked during criminal background check).
4. Have a current Florida Firefighter I and II Certification
5. Have a current Florida EMT Certification
6. Have a current State of Florida Driver's License (No Restrictions, MVR check completed).
